Azerbaijan's rich gastrotourism opportunities took center stage at the "National Geographic Traveler" culinary festival held in London, with support from the State Tourism Agency.

From July 15 to 16, 2023, the event showcased the culinary heritage of Azerbaijan, its distinctive tea culture, and its delectable national sweets.

Festival attendees were treated to a delightful culinary experience, featuring a taste of traditional Azerbaijani dishes such as plov, gutab, and kuku, as well as the opportunity to savor Azerbaijani wines.

Throughout the festival, various activities and masterclasses were organized, including a "Tea Ceremony" and a "Rice and Saffron" masterclass, providing visitors with the chance to immerse themselves in Azerbaijani culture and culinary traditions.

Elin Suleymanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, paid a visit to the Azerbaijani stand.
